🏆 Racing World: UCI World Cup Final Rounds
Alan Hatherly Does It Again
South Africa’s Alan Hatherly defended his Elite Men’s XCO title at the 2025 MTB World Championships. He attacked early, built a commanding gap, and never looked back. To back it all up he then went on to win the next World Cup in style! Two rainbow jerseys in a row put him in rare company. His mix of power, precision, and calm under pressure makes one thing clear: Alan is chasing GOAT status in SA MTB lore.
The end of the MTB World Cups is upon us…with just 2 rounds remaining it’s still all to play for in the XCO & DHI.
Lake Placid, 3-5 October 2025
This round will host both Cross-Country (XCO / XCC) and Downhill (DHI) competition. Expect tough climbs, tight descents, and altitude playing a factor (Whiteface / Mt Van Hoevenberg).Mont-Sainte-Anne, 9-12 October 2025
The final round for XC & DH and it promises to be a memorable end to an epic season. Known for technical rock gardens, fluid flow, and classic climbs. A stage where consistency and nerves matter more than bold gambles.
